- Abstract
- The article examines intellectual biography of Wang Xiaodong - one of the leading advocates of nationalism in contemporary China and key author of 2009 bestseller "Unhappy China". Using Internet as a primary communication channel Wang Xiaodong tries to reach a broader audience compared to scientific journals' readers. The paper reconstructs Wang's doctrine of turning China into a 21st century superpower by positioning Chinese nationalism as a leading ideology for the PRC.
