Abstract
The United States are among the seven countries which still have not ratified the Convention to Eliminate All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) adopted by the United Nations GA in 1979 and Entered in force in September 1981. Why the United States which claim to be a champion of human rights and a consistent supporter of democratic principles, so stubbornly opposed to the ratification of the CEDAW?
