- Abstract
- The article deals with discovery and analysis of the principal sources of the manuscript «The book of seven misteries» of Euthymeos of Chudov. It was created as a compilation of works from the Metropolis of Kiev, such as Innocent Giesel’s «The Peace with God» and «The learning of the seven ecclesiastical misteries». Euthymeos’ manuscript is an interesting example of creative adaptation to the Russian realities of the works from Metropolis of Kiev, which to a large extend were based on the Catholic sources.
