Abstract
The author's thoughts are focused on legal, emotional, psychological, moral, political, and philosophical aspects of one of the forms of legal proceedings – jury trials. In modern Russia, it is being reanimated after almost 100 years of oblivion. The democratic tradition considers a jury trial to be the most honest, objective, impartial, and fair.
