- Innovation is the main direction in solving numerous problems of the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation - in particular, the demographic problem. The article reveals the rich innovative potential of the region in the field of education and science. Creating conditions for attracting and retaining young personnel is regarded as a task of strategic importance for the Russian Federation.
