- The article, based on archival materials, reveals the causes and course of the political struggle in the leadership in 1953-1956. It examines the differences between the groups according to the post-war economic plan, which led to the elimination of the Yan'an and Soviet groups and the establishment of the dominance of the faction led by Kim Il Sung.
