Abstract
Increasing China's demographic presence in Russia, particularly in the Far East, is an objective phenomenon. Providing some economic benefits to both countries, it often causes political fear among Russian people. Beijing's basic strategy in this regard will be the establishment together with Russia of an effective mechanism for mutual vulnerability, interdependence and mutual benefit.
