Abstract

The paper analyzes the large-scale regional development programs, implemented in the Far East since 1930. The authors conclude that the "fuzziness" of targets and the dispersion of financial resources do not allow to solve tasks. Analysis of the Strategy of Socio-Economic Development of the Far East and the Baikal Region up to 2025 has shown its discrepancy and inevitability of updating the document.
