Abstract

While China's interest on the African continent is not limited to oil, a list of PRC major trading partners is mainly composed of oil-producing countries. African oil accounts for about 30% of total Chinese imports of raw materials, with 26% of it coming from the states of Gulf of Guinea and Sudan.
