Abstract

The Arctic prospects of the BRICS in the context of the five’s relationswith the Latin American and Caribbean States are considered in the article, the interests of the member countries of the association in the virtual Trans-Arcticare analyzed. The absence of a permanent theme in the agenda of the association,in the author’s opinion, is a significant omission, especially considering that in theXXI century the involvement in the Arctic affairs becomes one of the factors ofhierarchical rating in the world community.
