- Abstract
The monopolism is a phenomenon that leads to stagnation in the economy, a phenomenon that provokes corruption on the part of the state apparatus. The monopolism leads, ultimately, to the strangulation of free enterprise, and then, to the degradation of the economic foundations of the state, its destruction. From the point of view of free development, there is nothing natural about "natural monopolies", unless these monopolies are created in areas that represent a state secret, the disclosure of which poses a threat to national security. Antimonopoly legislation is designed to protect vital areas of the economy from the penetration of foreign capital, to ensure national security without violating free competition in all other areas.
