Аннотация
В статье рассматривается фрагмент так называемой «Книги победы над Сетом» (текста IV в. до н.э., призванного обеспечить средствами магии защиту Египта от Сета, иначе говоря, от чужеземных врагов). Данный фрагмент (Urk. VI. 29. 8-15) позволяет считать, что страны, окружающие Египет (их ‘круг', dbn), мыслились создателями этого текста как обиталище ‘мертвеца' (mwO-Сета, т.е. радикально отличный от нормы и опасный мир, экспансия в который была лишена какого-либо смысла. Это представление хорошо согласуется с концепцией другого источника - Стелы сатрапа 311 г. до н.э., представляющей войны сатрапа Птолемея как чисто оборонительные и противопоставляющей Египет всем иным странам, с теми же аллюзиями на образ Сета. По-видимому, изоляционистская концепция обоих текстов была принципиально едина и призвана оправдать неспособность Египта в это время разгромить своих врагов (при царях ХХХ династии - персов, при сатрапе Птолемее в конце 310-х годов до н.э. - Антигона и Деметрия).
