- Abstract
The Xiamen SEZ, which has been playing the role of China’s “window” to the outside world for 37 years, an “experimental field” of reforms and openness, has made a significant contribution to economic restructuring and socialist modernization of the country. Xiamen’s practical activities deserve generalization and consistent, in-depth study. Based on the facts presented in the article and their analysis, the authors attempt to assess the future development of the Xiamen SEZ.
