Abstract

Throughout the history of the People's Republic of China, its leaders of different generations have sought to creatively apply the Marxist-Leninist theory of socialist construction, taking into account the national characteristics of the country. Since the 3rd Plenum of the 11th CPC Central Committee (1978), the Chinese leadership has made a "market choice". The 17th Congress of the CCP was an important stage in the development of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics."
