Abstract
The article analyzes the relations between Soviet Russia and China in 1917-1924. The differences between the foreign policy of Soviet Russia and the policy of tsarist Russia are considered. It is noted which treaties and agreements the RSFSR recognized as unequal and what it abandoned in its foreign policy. The article presents the concepts of Russian and Chinese historiography regarding the first declarations of the RSFSR, the Agreement of May 31, 1924, the problems of the CER, as well as the overall foreign policy of Soviet Russia in North-Eastern China. The article considers Russian-Chinese interstate relations taking into account new approaches to the assessment of the October Revolution.
