Abstract

The authors attempt to analyze the content of the book by Professor Li Mingbin of Peking University "The History of Russian Sinology" in the context of the development of Russian historiography in the field of Sinology. The expediency of this kind of comparative approach is due to the fact that this monograph contains a detailed and comprehensive description of the research of Russian Sinology in the field of literature, history, philosophy and other disciplines in different periods of our history.
