Abstract
The review presents the results of the discussion within the framework of the “Round table” held in the IFES RAS. Topics of discussion included economic development of the region, the rise of China and changes in U.S. policy, Russia’s pivot to the East, as well as non-traditional security issues, processes and factors that determine economic security in East Asia. The potential and forms of the strengthening of economic cooperation, the possible limits of integration of regional countries and major Powers are analyzed.
